The Baseball Camp is designed for the camper who wants to enjoy the outdoors, acquire some baseball knowledge, and make new friends. The emphasis of this camp is both on the fundamentals of baseball and on having fun.
A typical morning begins with small-group instruction to develop skills in hitting, fielding, throwing, bunting, and positional play. A series of controlled scrimmages allows the coaching staff the opportunity to evaluate campers' play. Games and noncompetitive skill contests are conducted in the afternoon, and everyone participates and plays. The afternoon continues with a focus on fundamentals to reinforce each camper's skill development.
Optional swim for Baseball Camp is offered only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
