Now in its sixth year, the Boys and Girls Tennis Camp will enjoy activities that include instruction, games, and match play. This camp is designed for boys and girls ages 8-15.
Campers will be offered a balance of match play and drilling in a relaxed setting with a low camper-to-coach ratio. Campers at all skill levels can work on their games on our beautiful, eight-court facility on the Babson campus.
What to Bring
Campers for all camps should dress so that you will be ready to participate actively in games and skill building activities. We recommend wearing shorts and a t-shirt or sweatshirt, depending on the weather. Your child's footwear should provide good lateral support and be appropriate for the sport in which he or she is signed up. In addition, you should bring an athletic bag with sun block, swimsuit, towel, change of clothes for the afternoon session, and jacket in case of rain. Finally, be sure to clearly label all items.
Program Objectives
- Develop ground stroke, serve-and-volley consistency, and technique
- Practice doubles and singles strategy
- Learn tennis conditioning
- Discuss latest trends in tennis
- Develop the power game
- Ensure that every camper leaves with a better knowledge and enjoyment of the game
